Very first donation round

Updated: Feb 15, 2021

banderini minted its very first block way back in epoch 230. The plan was always to perform donation rounds every 18 epochs, as this was a good balance between regular donations, but also maximising the fiat value of donations in line with the gradual rise of the value of ADA. Well, the time for banderini's first round of donations to charity has arrived! And at just the right time. 10% of operator profits over the last 18 epochs amounts to $540 at today's prices - banderini couldn't be more happy and proud of the achievements of the past months and the ability to make a start on one of its primary missions: supporting charities and organisations that help those without the comfort and safety of a roof over their head and the basic amenities that a lot of us take for granted. Of course, this would not have been possible without the support of our delegators and for that we are always extremely thankful.

ActionAid is a UK based organisation that focuses on empowering women and children who have been displaced from their homes and are facing violence and poverty in overcrowded camps. They build toilets and shelter and provide emergency cash transfers for food and medicines to women who are trying to maintain some semblance of a home life for their children. You can read more information on what ActionAid does and where they are providing help here: . banderini has today (15-02-2021) completed a donation of £390 / $540 to ActionAid via PayPal with the sale of 610 ADA from operator profits

As always, banderini looks forward to welcoming delegators onboard who share in the mission and who would like to see their ADA work for those less fortunate. Please follow on Twitter or join the Telegram group if you'd like more information!

Have you ever thought of giving the different orgs an opportunity to take the Charity now or take it in ADA and let it ride as a delegated stake and allow for Compounding the stake?
